Landmark Announces Markesan Grain Expansion Project

May 4, 2012

Landmark Services Cooperative is pleased to announce a plan for our Markesan campus grain expansion project. Effective immediately we will begin construction at our existing Agronomy and Grain sites located at W1705 County Road S in Markesan to expand our grain storage capacity and handling set-up. This growth will allow us to better serve our customers and provide them with the utmost quality and service. Landmark's Executive Vice President- Grain, Doug Cropp, states “The grain expansion at our Markesan campus will significantly increase our storage and handling capacity at this site to better serve our members and to continue to grow our grain business in the Markesan area. With the potential of 300 bushels per acre of corn by the year 2030, this is an example of how Landmark will continue to evaluate opportunities to improve and grow our grain handling abilities to serve our member's needs."
