The 2011 scholarships were originally slated for a total of fifteen, but after seeing the quality of applicants, Landmark’s executive staff made the decision to increase the total to eighteen. “The quality of the applications was outstanding this year,” said Landmark Scholarship Administrator, Shannon Horstmeyer. “These students are not only very accomplished academically, but they are outstanding individuals as well. The volunteer activities, leadership positions and study abroad experiences they have had make them a very impressive group.” The Landmark Services Cooperative Scholarship is offered to all Landmark members and members’ that will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school.
